If you hit the Side Street on a Sunday, Dennis, who wears a nice vest and tuxedo trousers (black, formal black) will be your bartender.
John came in, while were were visiting, apparently a regular who knew Dennis well enough to give him a hard time.
There were New York Magazine covers framed on the walls (Rita Hayworth, Lt. James Stewart, etc.).
The bar we indulged at was oval and a Bandstand was central to the room and the place ooyed of polka.
Probably a great place for a wedding reception. No doubt a family party joint.
